Wind Tunnel

Compact Educational Wind Tunnel
The Compact Educational Wind Tunnel is a student-built aerodynamic testing device designed to simulate real-world airflow around objects. It provides a practical platform to visualize and study airflow characteristics such as lift, drag, and flow separation, which are fundamental to multiple engineering disciplines, especially aerospace and mechanical engineering.
The primary objective of this project was to build an affordable, compact, and effective wind tunnel system that supports research-oriented learning and hands-on understanding of fluid dynamics and aerodynamics for students.
This wind tunnel is a compact and functional model, constructed using lightweight and cost-effective materials. While it is not intended for industrial-grade testing, it serves as a reliable educational tool for demonstrating core aerodynamic principles. The system enables measurement of lift and drag forces and allows airflow visualization using smoke or thread techniques. Its portable and lab-friendly design ensures easy transport, quick setup, and repeated educational use.
