Discipline, Dedication, and Dreams

• The NCC shapes young cadets into leaders, instilling discipline, patriotism, and mental resilience. Leaving their comfort zones, they discover hidden strengths, train their minds and bodies, and commit to serving the nation.

• Before dawn, their day begins — not with alarms, but with a deep sense of duty. The sound of marching boots breaks the stillness as they head to the parade ground. Salutes at sunrise become a daily reminder of the love they carry for their country.

• Through endless rehearsals, perseverance becomes second nature. They march in unity, stand firm like the rifles they carry, and align their movements with flawless precision — each step a testament to teamwork.

Building Strength in Body and Voice

• A parade commander’s voice must cut through the air like steel. Cadets use time-tested techniques — pepper for clarity, breath control drills, and rigid postures — to achieve command presence. Positions like savdhan (attention) and vishram (at ease) demand unwavering stillness and perfect alignment.

• Even when muscles ache and boots plead for rest, their determination keeps them going. Nights echo with stamping boots, a sign of their readiness for the big day.

Women Leading with Pride

• This year, the overall parade commander was CSUO R.K. Jaga Priya, with CDT SGT D. Piradeep leading the Air Wing contingent. Sword in hand, she stood with fearless pride beside the National Flag — proof that equality is rooted in courage and skill.

• On Republic Day, the Army Wing girls led by CDT CPL P.S. Suvedha, Army Wing boys led by L/C N.S. Thilesh, and Air Wing led by CDT SGT D. Piradeep showcased precision drills, powerful salutes, and contagious energy.

Beyond the Parade Ground

• Uniform care is part of their pride — berets perfectly shaped, boots polished to mirror shine, creases sharp as swords. First-year cadets felt the thrill of wearing ceremonial attire for the first time.

• Following the drills, the Air Wing performed a skit about a soldier’s sacrifice, ending with the Gallantry Award presented to his mother. Army Wing girls decorated the “Valor and Heritage” flag area with heartfelt effort.

Cherishing the Moment

• The applause and appreciation they received reflected not just a performance, but months of perseverance. Cadets balanced academics and NCC duties, sacrificed holidays, and trained from January through the eve of Republic Day.

• The pride on their faces was unmistakable. The joy of achieving perfection after relentless effort is a feeling beyond words — a memory they will carry forever.
